When you have these back to back games against top 10 opponents, I think you can get lost in all the talk about how important each one is. What's done is done with the TCU game, so lets look at the possible outcomes of the BU game.

We win:

We're 4-1 with two extremely winnable games ahead and great time to work on fine tuning every aspect of our game. We're looking at bowl eligibility at midway through the season and rolling into Norman with confidence at an all time high along with a 12-16 spot in the rankings. The term playing on house money really comes to mind here - and that's a great feeling to have. I can really see a win this week propelling us to a 9-3 or 10-2 type of season. That may be good enough to vie for a share of the conference title when it's all said and done.

We lose:

We're sitting at 3-2 on the season and besides the next two games, wins are looking pretty damn hard to come by. Not saying this would be time to start panicking, but I'm pretty certain we can all agree that a loss here will bring up dark memories that we'd like to keep repressed deep down in our minds forever. I think a loss here will put us at the 6-6 or 7-5 mark.

This game is the program changer. This one is our superbowl. A win here makes 4-8 officially go away.
