To see our size mismatch at receiver and TE help us win. Maybe it is harder than I am thinking it is to utilize that mismatch?
One of Smith's picks last night, the last one, I felt was partially on the receiver. I forget who it was...maybe Loic. Smith floated it out there and it was on the money. But you had the safety coming over the top. He jumped for the ball, but Loic didn't. If Loic high points that ball, we are still in business. I am not complaining, or trying to blame anyone for how close this game was. I don't think it had to be that close. But I think that had to do with young, very talented, players making mistakes all over the field.
Someone much smarter than me, this should be an easy ask, please correct me if I am wrong. I have seen the mismatch come into play, but it doesn't seem as though it happens in big moments. I would think it is an easy go-to for ball control on 3rd down.
