Kansas has a better roster than us. Think about that when trashing this coaching staff. Their qb is better, their running back is probably the most dynamic in the Big 12 and their wide receivers are dynamic.
We literally had a head coach for the last 6 years that hated recruiting and it shows. When the first thing that a new staff does is start scouring the transfer portal or the scraps left over from the JCs, you should know that we are going to be in trouble. This roster, at the top, can compete in the Big 12, but when you start drilling down, the depth is putrid at best and it begins to show at the ends if games and in November. Want to know why Kliff hardly ever won in November, because the depth sucked. Want to know why our team seems to be getting hurt so much, because our starters are having to play too much. Hell, Wells even admitted in his last answer in his presser that the lack of depth in the secondary is why we suck at the ends if games.
