Texas Tech earns commitment from Illinois State OT Hunter Zambrano
Texas Tech landed a commitment along the offensive line with the pledge of Illinois State OT Hunter Zambrano.
Zambrano only played in 2 games this year due to a hip injury but has logged a career 1600+ snaps. In 2023 he graded out as a 79.3, per PFF.
2023: All-MVFC Second-Team selection ... started all 11 games at left tackle for the Redbirds … graded out at the team’s top offensive lineman at over 90 percent … key member of the offensive line unit that allowed the fewest sacks in the MVFC with just 7 on the year, ranking the group in the top 5 nationally … ISU’s rushing offense ranked third in the league with 197.5 yards per game on the ground, including a season-high 345 yards against Murray State … Redbirds also ranked third in the league in total offense with 433.5 yards per contest and third in scoring … two-time MVFC Offensive Lineman of the Week selection.
