I don't care what our seed is, this team is not one you'd want to play in the tourney. We lost 3 right after Zach's injury and 3 now after Keenans. And you won't convince me we lose today if Gray is on that court. It hurts now but you need Zach to get back in the flow. I expect Gray to be out a couple of games. If Evans gets comfortable with that toe we are a top 5 team. This has allowed serious time for our reserves and that will be beneficial in the big dance. Be interesting to see who sits. We have 6 legit starters in Keenan, Gray, Odiase, Culver, and both Smiths. We have a solid center backup in Hamilton and guards/forwards in Niem and Francis. That's a solid 9 man rotation. Every team needs depth in the tourney. I thought it was interesting to see several ESPN guys picking KU to win the Big 12 but saying we were the one to have the best chance of advancing deeper once we're healthy. I agree 100%. This team fights. We've just been playing with our hands tied with injuries.
