Now that we're close to seeing the realities of The Jones come true, what about doing some outside the box thinking for the site immediately adjacent to the stadium - specifically the west lot. How about a simple one level steel/concrete parking deck for about 150 cars. That would create +/-150 spaces "in the shade" and free up +/- 2 acres of land. The deck should cost no more than $10,000 per space or +/-$1.5 million. The 2 acres could be designed/ arranged in various different shapes/ways to maximize use and provide a much needed greenspace/oasis in that otherwise terrible old lot. Spaces on the "greenbelt" might cost a little more.... maybe some restrooms?... trees would be a novel addition....
