Things would be different with Joey. Even after the Wyoming game, the 0-2 start, all of it…. @codycc64 and the rest of the big wigs we’re preaching to stay strong, keep supporting….
In the long run, maybe I will. Still think Joey is the perfect fit culturally and the recruiting has been great. Maybe it gets turned around at some point.
But God Damn. 1-3. After all that talk, 1-3. I’m in shock. Mostly because of how it’s happened. The turnovers, the terrible play calling, the bullshit everywhere. These guys weren’t ready for this season and I did not expect that. I’m checking out mentally and it’s September 23rd.
We’ve got at least another couple years with Joey. I’m not “quitting”. But it’s hard not to feel right now like maybe you just are what you are and maybe always will be. Like Joey is just another guy. Feels like you finally have a lot of pieces in place and they roll this start out.
I could post all the stats. You’re god awful on the road. The offense is an asbolute shit show. Etc.

Just why? A top 3 brand name in the state of Texas and we simply suck as a program. Cool lights now, pretty things being built. But you suck. And you’ve sucked for most of your existence outside of a handful of years.
