I've had Shingles already and it was on my left side. The pain was excruciating. The rash and I felt like someone was taking a knife and stabbing it through my rib cage and twisting it and it made it so hard to move and breathe. Other than my staph infection that almost cost me my life and or leg I have never had that much pain. Well I had the shot hoping to never get it again.

Has anyone ever had a recurrence of it. I have bumps, rash or whatever all over my checks on both sides of my butt and going up my spine. It is now becoming painful. They look like measles sort of. Uncomfortable to sit down. Not excruciatingly painful like before but certainly uncomfortable.

Anyone had a recurrence of shingles? If so was it different than the original case? If so how much? I've been trying to treat it but it is sure not getting any better and is now starting to actually hurt. I will get an appt with my skin cancer dermatologist that has to cut things off of my scalp ever so often. I have a place now I think he will need to take off. But as we know schedules are not done right away. So I thought I would ask if anyone has any experience with this.

Any help would be appreciated. I know I will get some smart type replies but any serious ones would be appreciated. Thanks
