The doom and gloom. Through 4 games we know what this team is. It's not the 4-8 team that just rolled over. We literally had the #3 team on the ropes. 4th down and goal and an over throw because of pressure on Boykin. We were 1 foot away from winning that game. This defense is tougher and more fundamentally sound than we've seen in years. We knew tcu was going to do what it wanted on offense because they are that good. Give credit where it due to your opponents. Respect the skills they have and acknowledged the guts this team showed till the last second. Even after that deflating score by tcu the team didn't give up.
Let this sink in. We are 3-1 with a baller QB and a defense that's much improved. When we go out and lay and egg and just get bulldozed by an opponent then bitch away. Until then shut the hell up. Stop blowing up kids playing a damn game and be thankful things are looking up.
And yes there is a difference between being critical of scheme and effort, and just calling a kid out by name. Effort was solid scheme had some glaring issues at times.
