America has spent more blood and treasure than any other country in the Middle East and now the present administration wants to withdraw and let the countries in the region do more. There is no strategic strategy to confront this Islamic threat. For those who believe that the rise of Islam is because of poverty, lack of economic opportunity or even occupation, all we have to do is look at Tibet. We don't see Tibetan monks blowing themselves up or wanting to kill "infidels"

The threat is because Islam is what it is and is not a religion of peace.

Bush sent large armies in and Obama withdraws. The question is what now? America is the only country that can come up with a strategic vision and get a coalition but to do what?

There is no question we have to defeat these Islamic radicals but what should our strategic plan be?
