Some of you probably know that I am a Spurs fan. I have been since their first season in the old ABA. But I'm also a fan of Texas teams (professional), and I am pulling for the Rockets.
While I have watched parts of several Houston games this year (I can't even watch an entire Spurs game, so Rockets fans, please don't take it personally that I haven't watch a Houston game in its entirety), I was surprised to see how uninvolved some of the Houston players were on offense. I think that when one player is as good as Harden (or Lebron, or whomever), sometimes it is tough to get everyone moving. I didn't like the ball movement last night against GS. Is this typical? Having watched the Spurs as much as I have, I have grown to really appreciate great passing/ball movement and getting everyone involved in their offense. I hope that what I saw last night (didn't watch the entire game) is not indicative of the ball movement Houston typically employs. There was too much one on one basketball on Houston's end of the court. Poor passing and seemingly not knowing what to do with the ball (unless your name is Harden) won't get the job done.
