I've been camped at Texas Children's Hospital for the past few weeks and it looks like a few weeks more and I'm a fish out of water. Fingers crossed only that long. I have a car that I'd like to leave parked as much as possible and I need a few things in the way of recommendations within a few miles of the Houston Medical Center.
1. Food - Walking distance - I've tried Miller's, Murphy's, Wan Fu, Village BBQ, Chipotle. Am I missing anything close? Within a few miles - Pappa's BBQ, Pappasito's and La Madeliene. Seafood?
2. Decent place for a haircut $25 range Do I just go get the SportsClips.
3. Once we get out of here. Can you make some suggestions on must dos in the area with a 4 year old? Zoo? Children's Museum? Kema? We are in desperate need of some family fun!
