Well, wrecked it for one team. Not for Duke, their hot shooting is being celebrated by their fans and CBS. But man they were HOT in the second half, and it wasn't a bunch of runout layups.

Nothing to be done, teams have nights like that sometimes. The list of tourney exits to hot shooting teams is long, glorious, and storied - and now a little sad for me personally.

We talked about this all season - how to beat Texas Tech.

1.) Play a zone.

2.) Double team Williams whenever he gets the ball. Ok their big center was a one man double team. Until this game I had not seen Williams' running hook shot get blocked.

3.) Make your shots. Duke shot lights out in the second half, against a stout Texas Tech defense. They just made tough shots.

So, you come up against a hot shooting team and you lose - it's no shame. Good game Texas Tech, they just got beat. It happens.

Go Arkansas, maybe they will be the beneficiary of Duke's shot makes coming back to earth - but I'm not 100% sure on that.

The malaise of the off season is upon me. I'll take a few weeks to decompress, and now I have new fire for football this season. Can't wait to see how all the positivity around football translates to on the field play and results. Let's goooooo!
