Alright guys I am currently overseeing production for a 500 acre woody ornamental nursery which supplies retail and rewholesale from The Rocky Mountains east. We are privately owned debt free nursery company which is uncommon in the industry and have been very successful for 75 years as a company. All of that to get to finding quality entry level college educated people to work in horticulture has been very difficult. Starting paying is $50-60/year and I know it’s not much but it’s competitive to a teachers salary with a company truck, free gas and we offer an annual bonus.
