I saw a few Mike Leach threads, so I wanted to not take away from those and just allow people to comment on thoughts here for ways to honor him at the coming bowl game. Has anyone heard what Tech could do to honor Leach during our bowl game this year. I was thinking it would probably be like a decal on the back of the helmet, but if we could get ole miss to agree with it, I would love to see the all black uniforms especially if we could do one from his era except on the helmet go with a matte black helmet with a jolly rogers on one side and then a monochrome double t on the other like this picture or this one. This is assuming his family would be okay with Tech doing something for Leach. I do not want to dig into it here, but understand if for them Texas Tech the university is not something they would want to deal with which is separate from the players and people Mike worked / coached with while he was here.
