Home Security System Lubbock?

I know this has come up several times, however, I couldn't find it while searching old threads. Any recommendations for home security systems in Lubbock?
I checked with Adt and its $48.99/mo w/ a 3 year contract that doesn't cancel even if you move. Seemed a little steep to me.
