As I predicted, the right wing defense is in full force. The skinny:
1. Rosanne was only joking
2. There was no racist intent
3. Comparing black people to Apes is not racist
4. Hollywood is out to get conservatives
5. Rosanne is the real victim
6. Its an attack on free speech
7. Black people are the real racists and nothing happens to them
8. Liberal double standards
I said they will martyr Rosanne and make her the victim. Now the only thing left is for her to get her own show on Fox. Its going to happen and the right will flock to her show to support her.
This was so predictable it is laughable. Conservatives will not ever give an inch on admitting something was racist. Just cannot do it.
