Apparently 750,000 folks that are in our country illegally (but protected under DACA waivers) want to have citizenship granted to them. Did the folks that were protected by DACA try (and apply) for citizenship only to be turned down? It seems that if you have been here for a decade and you want to remain here you would be applying for citizenship and working towards that within the current system?
Is is just me or do some of you find it awkward that folks that are not citizens protest about not being treated fairly in a country that they do not hold citizenship in?
