When Clinton left office there was a surplus and we were projected to pay off the them $5.6T national debt within a decade. 21 years later the national debt is now $28.4T. This is before the Dems spend $3.5T on the next budget or the $1T on this infrastructure deal.
Democrats and Republicans alike have been responsible for spending this county into oblivion. Hopefully one day American citizens can stop blaming the other party long enough to realize they equally to blame.
