AL West Predictions:
Division Champs- Seattle Mariners 95-67
Second Place (Wild Card)- LA Angels 90-72
Third Place- Oakland 82-60
Fourth Place- Texas 76-86
Fifth Place- Houston 74-88
AL MVP- Robinson Cano
NL MVP- Yasiel Puig (hated to do that)
AL Cy Young- Chris Sale
NL Cy Young- Clayton Kershaw
AL Darkhorse Team: Oakland (Never count out Oakland, even after unloading)
NL Darkhorse Team: Cubs (Just because of Joe Madden)
World Series- Dodgers over Red Sox in 6 games.
Had a tough time picking an American League team. I think Seattle has a great shot to make a run at the WS... But just not sure if this is quite the year for them. To me it came down to Detroit and Boston. Ultimately went with Boston because I think they're deeper top to bottom.
They AL should be fun to watch this year. I think all but Texas, Houston, Minnesota and Tampa will seriously challenge for a playoff spot. I think Oakland competes for a long time but falls off mid-to-late August.
