I'd love to have those of us share your testimonies on here and share anything else you desire.
Mormons etc are not Christians. I can prove this by this. When they come to my door I ask them these questions.
If I don't believe Jesus and Satan were brothers.
If I don't believe Joseph Smith was a prophet
If I don't believe works have any bearing on becoming a Christian (BTW I did a thread on my analysis of work based religions to get to heaven and why not valid)
If I believe Jesus is the only way to heaven
If I believe I can't become a God
I can continue. I then ask. If I don't believe all those can I claim to be a Mormon? Then say Of course not! I then reply, Then you can't claim to be a Christian because our theology is so very different we are not the same!
At that point they get it. I do same with all cults as I know the various beliefs they have and contrast them. Jehovah's Witnesses etc.
