I'm going to piggyback on the ideas of others on this board. If we, as an offense, just stop scoring so many points, it will drive the defensive numbers down.

If we only score 7-14 points a game, the opposing team will take their foot off the gas. If we are lucky, they would maybe even put in their backups! This is guaranteed to cut the defensive numbers in half!
