SO, I had to take my IPhone into the Apple Store in UP Town Albuquerque today for repairs. My appointment is for 10am.....Place is JAMMED.....typical Apple store...super nice....and so crowded with Locals and those that work there.
Boy Do I stand out. I don't look anything like the people that work there are shop there. I'm in jeans and boots, button up shirt....typical in Texas. Not here. I had trouble spotting anyone without purple or red dye in their hair. Everyone but me had tattoos and more than a few rings in noses or ears. and The dress? I could not tell. Never seen so many different looking garments.
anyway, everyone is super nice and over the top helpful. As I'm waiting at the counter to get my phone back, a young lady who looked like I describe (rings in nose, ears, purple hair and so forth is waiting also. So I ask her about her Apple product and we talk like typical Apple geeks and soon I ask her about Hillary.
""Never heard of her" she says. So I ask about her thoughts on President Obama. "Uh, oh, I don't know"
So then I turned the conversation back to Apple.
I thought she was interesting. Looked to be in her 20s.
Honestly I walked out happy as they fixed my phone and I had time to look over and drool over a Mac Book
but I could have been on another planet.
