do checks and balances go out the window? what are your guys's view on the concept of checks and balances? I realize most republicans are pleased but any out there who view it as democracy being at stake a bit, atleast until a future election for congress? Or have we entered "party over democracy" times?
Supreme Court is considered bipartisan, but clearly that's not true considering the hold off the past year in approval of a new justice with the loss of Scalia. We all know judges are elected on their history which will show some deviation from bipartisicsm.
