Actually, it was Zach Austin in Bruce Feldman's piece who made the comparison, saying Bowman is a bit of a "smart ass" who keeps things loose like Mayfield did, and has the ability to forget a bad play and go on to the next. I interpret that as a lot of self- confidence in his ability.
