Family trip to Pennsylvania

Taking my family to Pennsylvania for family vacation much needed trip. Was wondering if anyone may know any hole in the wall places off the beaten path you can recommend? Going to Gettysburg first then to Washington DC to see the Smithsonian, Lincoln memorial, capital etc. Hershey to get some chocolate and Lancaster to see the Amish community.
