- Oklahoma State is going to end up in the Big 12 title game and they are currently ranked as a middle of the pack Big 12 team
- That loss to BYU hurts. Just an awful, terrible start that directly cost a 14 point swing with the two fumbles.
- Wyoming is what it is. Tech wins that game 99% of the time going up 17-0.
- Surprised to see TCU so high. Them and UCF and Kansas are good wins.
- Tech is a good team. Currently ranked higher than some non-Big 12 teams such as 9-2 Iowa (#37) and 8-3 NC State (#42) among others. The Big 12 is a relatively tough league with a lot of competent teams.
