Getting a 6 week old puppy next weekend. Have wanted one my whole life, so I'm pretty pumped.

Anyone have any thoughts and insights on the breed- training wise, temperament, etc?

Also, does anyone have any experience with dog insurance related to vet bills and whatnot? Is it worth it?
