I am giving heavy consideration, for the first time in my life, to propose to my GF. Thought I would start here to get suggestions on how those of you who are creative was able to design a ring and do it on a budget. Where did you get the stone, grade of stone, how was it cut, what metal, any additional stones? Did you have the same jeweler set the stone in the ring?
