I will load pictures after he commits this afternoon.

Many of you have become an online family to me. Some of you have met my son at an RRS lunch with @GCRRFan

Keats is 6'3 200+ and will graduate high school in a couple of months. He grew up mostly playing QB but at the 6A Varsity level ended up playing QB, HB, TE, WR, OLB/S, and some special teams. He lettered in football and basketball. He has nearly a million dollars combined in academic scholarship offers and ended up invited to play football at Thiel College in Pennsylvania, Austin College, Hendrix College in Arkansas, Southwestern Assemblies of God University, McMurry University, and Southwestern University. All NCAA Division 3 or NAIA. He was appreciative of all of the love shown his way and was most intrigued with Southwestern in Georgetown.

His one, 18-year-old hold up was that his goal has always been NCAA Division 1.

He did apply and was accepted by Texas Tech and the University of Central Arkansas and in total has applied to and been accepted by over 10 schools only being wait-listed by Trinity University and an Ivy League.

Finally, D1-FCS and nationally ranked for 3 years running, UIW, came through with academic money and 1of5 PWO spots for Keats as the only TE in their 2024 signing class. D1-FBS UTEP has reached out as well but Keats has decided to make his commitment to UIW.

His mom and I are beyond proud of him. He is a good son. He seems to genuinely love Jesus. He loves his brother. He works really hard and it is nice to see him still see his dream and goals out in front of him.

When I started looking at UIW season tickets, Keats said, "Dad, you do know that I probably won't see the field my freshman year? I will just be fighting to stay on the team." I said, "I know. First, your mom and dad will just consider it amazing to see you standing there, living in your moment. Second, as hard as you work, I believe that you will step across that line someday."

Thanks for indulging a proud parent. Also, thanks to those who will roast me always. You are a part of my family.
