I try not post too much here on these topics. In this case I was able to get a brief interview with Dr. Judy Shelton regarding whether she thinks the current global trade dispute/debate/discussion could lead to deeper discussions about monetary system reform. Since Dr. Shelton was an adviser to the Trump campaign and was appointed by President Trump as US Director for the European Bank for Reconstruction and Devlopment, she caught my attention with a recent twitter comment asking if it is time to think about "a new monetary system" to deal with currency fluctuations and manipulation.
