Greetings RRS Faithful and Happy Fathers' Day to so many of you. Writing from a waiting room of a 24 hour vet where our 10 year old male GSD is opened up. Out of nowhere tonight, I heard him making odd sounds and clearly panicking. He was foaming at the mouth and in a lot of pain. I got him to the clinic right away and approved $15k in estimates to try to unflip and untangle his stomach from his whole GI tract. The vets did not sound optimistic about his prognosis and I had to sign the DNR at their guidance so our guy doesn't suffer just for our sake. Sucks. Waiting on a sitrep from the vet at any moment here.
