I learned to change the oil as a young man and feel this is one of the last great frontiers of manliness left in a world of tight fitting jeans and yoga studios and organic food.
Bought my wife an 18 Yukon this summer and plan to change the oil for first time this weekend. I've always used AC Delco filters before in older model Tahoe/Silverados, as well as Mobil 1 synthetics. Any thoughts from this forum on oil type and filter for newer model GM SUV/Trucks?
Am I the only one willing the crawl under the hood anymore for routine maintenance? Would I be better off picking up a soy latte on the way to the jiffy lube Saturday morning instead?
