Anyone have any relatives or loved ones (or stories of them) that were in D-Day or participated in WW2? Thanks to all who served (my grandfather served and was on a boat to Normandy a few days after D-Day). IMO The greatest generation that was absolutely fearless and would do anything for their country. Many men jumped out of the boat that day to German guns that shot 1300 rounds per minute. Just saying "Thank you for your service" will never be enough. Definitely going to watch the Saving Private Ryan Omaha Beach scene tomorrow morning again.
