Now that Demarco is going to the dark side, what do y'all think the best plan of action is for the boys? I've given this some thought (and I'm just spitballing here) and I think these are some decent and realistic ideas:
A: Draft Gurley or Ingram in the 1st round or Tevin Coleman in the 2nd. Sign Ray Rice to the vet minimum. Roll with your draft pick, Rice and Randle in training camp....Give the best man the job and then cut Rice or Randle at the end of training camp based upon who was worse.
B: (Probably not happening) Tell Minnesota you will trade a 2nd round pick for AP, given that they restructure his contract to the specifications that are roughly equal to what you were willing to give Demarco.
I recognize that Defense is where our problem lies and our O-line will make RB's look better than they are, but I still want a talented runner to help us control the game with our O-line.
