I have a question for you guys in construction. I recently had my roof replaced, and one of the roofers drug his air compressor across the concrete of my back patio, putting a large scratch into it (about an inch wide, and 30 ft across). The owner of the roofing company, who is a friend of mine btw, wants to make the situation right. He offered me $300 off of my roof cost or he could send someone out to scrape the concrete to remove the scratch. I really like the way that stamped concrete looks, and have been considering getting it done to my back patio. My question is, is getting my patio stamped even an option? I don't know the process, so I wasn't sure if it could only be done on fresh concrete. I thinking about taking the discount, and then having someone come stamp my entire patio and stain it.
