The family and I are looking to spend some time in Colorado this summer, but we aren't too familiar with all the options. A few years back, I remember seeing a thread on hidden gems throughout the state so I thought I'd check in with you guys.
Looking to do some hiking, fishing, horseback riding, etc. Not looking for a real touristy area, but some place with some cabin rental options, if possible.
Have had Lake City and Crested Butte recommended already, but don't know much about them yet. Any advice is appreciated. Thanks in advance.
