Kliff is not the problem....the problem is Kliff coaches with his buddies. We have a former LB coach coaching defensive line and a former WR coaching our linebackers....and they are coaching those groups because it was the only way we could keep them on staff. Front seven has always been the problem the last 5-6 years, and it doesnt help that we have coaches coaching a position group outside their area of expertise, furthermore coaching under a defensive coordinator who did not have a say in their hiring. I like coach smith and haverty being at Tech--just not at their position groups, but if it ever came time to make a change, how will kliff tell them?
