This is the second year in a row they have coached their QBs this way. With fear. If you all remember just last year, they had Shough on a major leash in regards to his mobility (his best asset as a QB) and it really ****ed with his natural play (and he still got hurt!). There were several times in the Wyoming game he could have broke runs and didnt that ended up being incompletions. He even tripped over his own feet against both Wyoming and Oregon trying to reign himself in when he naturally wanted to scramble but was told not to. Could have made major differences in both of those close games. Games we lost.

The same thing I fear is playing out with Morton this year. They are trying to make, in terms of style, Brett Favre play like Tom Brady. Its ****ing idiotic. Let the kid play his style and make everything else fit that instead of making him fit into something that isn't him. Who gives a shit if he gets hurt again if the healthy player you get instead cant play naturally?
