Alright, the plan is to get BBQ with some family from out of state next Saturday. Usually my go-to is Cooper's in Llano (Best BBQ in the state hands down), La BBQ in Austin, or Smitty's in Lockhart. Unfortunately due to time and travel constraints for some of the party, we are limited to either Luling or Lockhart. Wish I could get them out to Cooper's, but its just not in the cards this time.
I haven't been to City Market in 7-8 years and it looks like their reviews have generally been trending down. Seeing as I have made a few trips to Lockhart recently, I would like to make it back to Luling. Can any of you other Central Texas BBQ regulars provide some opinions on whether City Market is still worth the trip, or if we would do best to just stick to Lockhart?
