Interesting comments regarding Presidents issuing pre-emptive pardons. When I first saw this I actually thought he was talking about President Biden's pardons, but this is actually from when there was a rumor that Trump might issue them back in 2020.
As it turns out, Trump's decision not to do them may have cost him a bunch of lawfare frustration but it's also probably a big part of him being re-elected. Most people didn't see just how much lawfare corruption was going on in our government until all those lawsuits got dumped on Trump right after he announced he was running.
