What if I played against you in a game. Later it is found it was rigged as you were playing against me having marked cards. Yet all you keep hearing is how I beat you by scoring 82 points on you? Well heck yes I should have. I had such a distinct advantage as I knew what you were going to play before you played your cards. Does that make me that superior of a player or coach? No. Heck. Take away that and Sonny and even with that it doesn't happen.
To keep bringing it up and tearing into KK, the team and coaches is totally unfair in that.
It is just piling on.
As I've explained too before. Had they even known. It isn't as easy to change signs as you think. D is played fast and instinctive. You spend all spring and fall learning the signals so you react quickly and decisively. Same way you type. If you have think each letter before typing you are too slow.
So to change signs makes them think before they can move. So if you changed just two keys on a keyboard and said type. How much would it slow you down? Would it slow you down so much it could effect your ability to make D plays like needed? You bet it would.
Within coaches you count on integrity. He had worked with Wally before and never counted on him not having it. Have you ever had someone you thought had it and then surprise you by not showing it at a time you didn't expect or plan for it?
Yet, I see judgement on KK, staff and the 82 points referred to all the time. It is time to let it go. Listen despite the legitimate reason. Don't think it hasn't motivated them anyway.
If I beat you despite that method. There is a good reason I beat you that badly. You'd hate hearing about it constantly. So you'd be motivated regardless to not let it happen again. If this recruiting and coaching moves haven't shown that then you aren't paying attention.
Please drop this and let it go for everyone's sake.
I'm sure I am not the only one tired of hearing about this score and esp knowing why it happened just galls me to death. It effected us not having a winning record I truly believe that. I think we win at least two more games if Wally doesn't sell us out.
KK isn't making excuses. That is for us to do. Let him use it for motivation in the right way. It sure seems to have been working!

I am very disappointed in my former next door neighbor and intramural teammate and backgammon opponent at nights so often at Tech. Ones integrity, character and honor shouldn't be for sale at any price for any goal.
That whole supposed "Christian" University has sold its soul etc for athletic wins. Very disheartening and esp from someone I considered a friend for so long.
