But, you’ve lost two games almost exactly the same way. In both losses, you were in striking range with a full quarter to go. You make the decision in both games to go for it on 4th down well in your own half. Both times you are stopped and both times NC State/K State score to effectively put the game away.
I am a fan of the aggressive philosophy. I love that we trust our defense to get a stop.
Yet, to me, you gave both of these games away. Maybe you still don’t win, but why in the world with a quarter to play and only down a score would you put yourself in that position…twice? With an NFL quality punter.
You couldve won both these games. Even with all the turnovers and bad O-Line/QB play.
We are building for a bright future. Exciting and awesome to see a Tech team have no quit. Just wild to me to put yourself in that position with the game in reach.
