Alright guys. I work in the online advertising industry as a sales rep. I primarily work with existing customers, but I'm also supposed to secure new business. I live and work in Austin, and like most places Cold Calling doesn't seem to work at all, but I think Austin is especially tough.
My question for you other sales guys out there, is have you found something that has been successful for you? I'm ambituous, and want to work hard, but it seems like cold calling is a waste of time, and I like to feel like the work I do gets something accomplished. I know it's a numbers game, but I just feel like cold calling is way inefficient.
