I found these comments by Bowlsby sorta depressing:
"Big 12 leaders have acknowledged that none of the available schools is a natural fit. None is guaranteed to deliver both highly competitive teams -- especially football teams -- as well as large new markets to increase the value of future media deals."
However, his comment in bold would suggest, at least based on surface stuff for large markets, that Houston would not be in the mix.
Just to reiterate, I am definitely of the camp that knows the "UH brings the houston market" camp is nutso.
His comments would also suggest that teams like Nebraska and Arkansas are not possibilities, which we already knew. That ship sailed a half decade ago when the Big 12 shoulda been expanding.
