Texas Tech will learn its bowl fate on Sunday, when all of the Big 12 bowls are announced.
If the selection process was today, based on what we've heard today from a few sources, the Red Raiders would likely face LSU in the Texas Bowl.
Here's the rub -- yesterday, many of those same sources told us yesterday that Texas Tech-LSU was "highly unlikely." So, clearly, this situation is pretty fluid and could (and has) change at a moment's notice.
Also, for whatever it's worth, the Texas Bowl's dream scenario would seem to be TCU-LSU but it sounds like a lot would have to happen for the Horned Frogs to end up in Houston.
