Depending the news station you watch there is or isn't a border problem.

Here is my experience from hunting season around the Freer area
-Sept through October, signs of trash but not seeing anyone and the BP only hitting our place 1-2 times a month
-Nov through Dec
-Saw many groups walking through property
-Once or twice a week BP calling and giving us an update
-Had a F250 run through our fence and had 5 people bailout
-Dec 31 had 7 guys walk right past me in a deer blind
-2022 the activity is picking up
-Jan 1 see 6 guys walk past a hunter in a stand
-Getting tons of calls from BP to give update on activity out there
-Last Wednesday 20 caught
-Had a group drink 2 cases of beer out of our walk-in cooler, almost worse offense so far
-Saturday morning had a bailout on out right at the corner of our private road that links our gate to the main highway
-Saturday had two groups of 20 walking through property around 7am (BP came at 1:30 because they were chasing the above so none caught)
-Sunday a lonely woman walks up to the house claiming she had kidnapped etc.....BP rushed out to come get her

I have been hunting here for 12 years and in the previous years traffic was random but now it is consistent. The BP is helpless and understaffed! If you believe that the border isn't a problem you're crazy. If you hear that 2,000,000 people were caught in 2021, how many crossed and were not caught?

Reminder. Early voting is open, seek people willing to help
