Anyone listening to it? I'm two episodes in and liking it so far.
It's certainly directed at an urban Texas Monthly-subscribing audience, and there's an environmental facet that will rustle some feathers (but that's not the focus at all). Overall I thought it was very evenhanded so far. The guy doing it is from Andrews and worked in the patch...all his family works in it too...so it's not some yankee outsider coming in to bash WTX or anything like that.
I'm more about the history, so I loved the 2nd episode. They basically give the Permian credit for winning WW1 and WW2 and giving the world the automobile and airplane.
