It was a tremendous performance by all tonight, but I was especially impressed with Big Russ. Going in we heard he was extremely raw, but did not move like a 7-footer. We have seen freshman bigs come in like Malik and even Khavon in his 2 minutes last year, look like a deer in the headlights and baby deer legs. I didn't see that from Big Russ tonight. He looked like a presence down low and with some more time out on the floor he is going to be a huge (no pun intended) help for us against the conferences bigs. All around great opening night and this team is just scratching the surface of its potential, without Ntambwe too. Guns Up in Austin!
