Ignoring the on-field results of Texas Tech, this season should be viewed as a huge success from a conference management standpoint given what we were looking at in July / August.
The Big 12 Commissioner, along with the university presidents, didn’t bow to the wishes of Big 10 and PAC 12. When those leagues were pumping myocarditis fear into the mainstream media, the Big 12 got a dr. from the Mayo Clinic to educate them and they deemed it safe to move forward. All teams aside from Baylor have now played 9 or 10 games and 7 teams will be playing next weekend in an effort to hit that 10 game threshold.
I love seeing the frustration and angst of Big 10 and PAC 12 games getting cancelled (not postponed) after their holier than thou act in August / early September. I would say I hope they get shut out of CFP, but we need tOSU to ensure aggy doesn’t go.
Anyways, I know people on here like to clown on how the Big 12 is run, but they’ve done a great job through this.
